A tag carries one address, written once when it is made: taptag.my/t/your-code. When a phone touches it, that address asks us where to send the person holding it, and we answer with wherever you're pointing today.
So the sticker on the table stays put. What it opens is a decision you get to take again tomorrow.

A restaurant puts one on every table. Tap it and a page opens with one button: leave us a review. Next month, point the same tags at the new menu instead. Nobody replaces anything.

The tag belongs to the business, not the person holding it. When someone leaves, point their tag at whoever takes over. Every tag they handed out for two years still works.

Tapping a tag works on every modern phone with no app. A phone can't reliably write one from a web page, so we write and lock each tag before it is posted.
Your data stays yours
We count taps so you can see what's working — where they came from, roughly how many people. Visitor IP addresses are hashed before they're stored, never kept raw, and we don't sell anything to anyone.
Plenty of people arrive here looking for a digital business card, and taptag is a perfectly good one. It is also a tag on a table, a code in a shop window, and whatever else you decide to point it at next.
